About the Job
Sensys America, a growing traffic enforcement company focused in saving lives is looking for an energetic individual to manage its financial operations and oversee its Back Office staff in a fast-paced yet friendly office.

The successful candidate will have the skills to:

Develop systems to account for financial transactions including maintaining the chart of accounts.
Define bookkeeping policies and procedures in accordance with accepted accounting practices.
Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections and maintain daily procedures to control cash.
Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries.
Analyze G/L accounts and prepare analysis package for the annual audit.
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends; and advising management on needed actions.
Perform financial reports by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement.
Prepare weekly and monthly program reports.
Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Research, track, and resolve accounting problems.
Match payments in accounts and back office.
Maintains accounting quality control by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Guides clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Maintains financial security by following internal control.
Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; report and pay monthly sales taxes and filing other required reports.
Reconcile bank statements monthly.
Produce payroll summary data, accruals, and all other non-system produced accounting journal entries.
Inventory and reporting and adjustments
Support company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff.
Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards and making necessary adjustments.
Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintain office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Maintain office staff job results by employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Develop strong working relationships with Sensys America, Inc. staff and customers.
Goal oriented to perform assigned tasks with outstanding result and in time.
Additionally, as time permits, this position will be required to help with general administrative tasks, including the organizing and facilitation of office activities.

Education and Work Experience:
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Knowledge using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience in using Quickbooks
• Must have 2-3 years experience
• Advanced English skills in both spoken and writing
• Strong work ethic
